ˇEncantada! 2008 Mark your calendar - September 7 - October 1 Rio Grande Art Association invites you to enter our annual juried painting exhibition, ˇENCANTADA! 2008 It will be held at the Ronald Gardenswartz Jewish Community Center, 5520 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico from September 7 to October 1, 2008. Encantada! 2008 is open to all artists over the age of 18 submitting entries according to the requirements in this prospectus. CLICK HERE FOR ˇEncantada! 2008 PROSPECTUS (PDF file, please print using 8.5” x 14” (Legal size) paper) A panel of three well known artists will rank entries to determine which will be included in the exhibition. The judge will make award selections from the actual work. The awards will be announced at the opening reception. JUDGE: Laurence Sisson JURORS: Robert Kuester, Julie Hopkins and Fred Miller SIZE: Maximum width including frame: 36”. Minimum width including frame: 12”. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES: Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 entries. Entries must be submitted by digital photo. Notification of Jury Results - Mailed by Saturday August 1 Deadline for shipped work to arrive at Mail Bank -Thursday, September 4 Hand delivery of artwork to Jewish Community Center - Friday, September 5, 9 am -11 am Opening Reception & Awards Presentation - Sunday, September 7, 3 – 5 pm Exhibition Open to the Public Sunday, September 7 – Wednesday, October 1 Daily from 10 am-5 pm Pickup of hand-delivered paintings - Wednesday, October 1, 5 – 6 pm or Thursday, October 2, 10 am – 1 pm
