Winter Vista - In this abstraction, the black on light effect suggests a winter scene to me. The orange accent (which could be a barn) was added to provide a sharp focus. |

Meanders -This abstract was inspired by the late fall color of Illinois. The miandering stream emerges from the treeline and defies the strict limits of the cultivated fields on either side. |

Shapes at Sunset - The different pieces of collage with their southwestern shapes contrast with the smooth background like a puzzle on a tablecloth. The collage ridges running in different directions together with a color shift give a sense of distance at evening's onset. |

Pinwheel --I used bright colors to give this a gay, springlike effect. The black lines were originally splashed in to provide a sense of motion but I think they succeed more as an accent. |
