MasterWorks 2027 Oil and Acrylic Artwork Submission

RGAA membership is required for oil and acrylic standard work entry into MasterWorks 2027.
Dues must be paid in full before submitting to the call for entry and remain current throughout the show or through April 26, 2027. To join or renew membership, click the “Member Signup” link in the RGAA menu and follow directions. Payments by debit, credit card, or ACH must be made online. Mailed checks will not be accepted.

Entries through ArtCall from October 1, 2026 through January 30, 2027, 5 pm

Cancellation Policy

Full refund will be given if cancellation notice is received by February 27, 2026 at 6 pm and workshop registration is full; a $50 administrative fee will be retained if the cancelled space cannot be filled. No refund will be given if cancellation notice is received on or after February 27, 2026; extenuating circumstances considered. Please contact Sally Harris, Workshop Coordinator, at workshopchair@rgaanm.org for questions or to be added to the wait list if workshop registration is full.

Michele Byrne is an impressionistic oil painter celebrated for her bold use of palette knife and expressive brushwork. Known for capturing The Art of Conversation, she paints vibrant cafés, street scenes, New Mexico Churches, and landscapes illuminated by dramatic light. Featured on the January 2020 cover of PleinAir Magazine in an eight-page feature article, Michele has received numerous awards for both her plein air and studio work. PaintTubeTV has released three instructional videos showcasing her techniques, including Palette Knife Cityscapes.

Michele is represented by Reinert Fine Art in Charleston, South Carolina, and James R. Ross Fine Art in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society and the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico, and is also a member of OPA, NMWA, PAAC, and NOAPS. A Royal Talens North America Artist Ambassador and sought-after instructor, Michele teaches in-person and online workshops, mentorships, and classes in Santa Fe, throughout the United States, and in Europe. Michele is passionate about helping artists of all levels see light, color, and design in new ways while developing confidence in their own unique artistic voice. WEBSITE
